William Rodgers:

Drawing on his experiences as a vicar, a community pillar, and a parent to a neurodivergent child and football player, he provides a unique perspective.

William Roger’s Bio

William is a dedicated grassroots sports coach with 20 years of experience, currently leading an Under-15 girls' team in the Capital Girls’ League. Over a third of the players in his squad have a neurodivergent diagnosis, including his own daughter, who is autistic and has ADHD. His personal experiences as a parent and coach, along with his role as Vicar at St Matthew's Fulham, have fueled his commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments where all children can thrive in sport.

Through lived experience and extensive research, William advocates for creating kinder spaces for all young athletes, especially those who are neurodivergent. While he hasn’t written books or published articles, his passion for inclusion drives his work with coaches and professionals to implement meaningful change. William believes in building sports communities that celebrate diversity and ensure every child feels valued and safe, reflecting his dedication to doing right by all young people
