Rose Sargent’s Bio

Rose has been involved in community building in sport since beginning rowing at university. She rowed and then Vice Captained her college boat club (KCBC) before coaching for them as an alumnus. In 2021, she was diagnosed with ADHD, having spent years already diagnosed with CFS.

Alongside her work with the ND Working Group, she presented at the BR Coaching Conference on neuroinclusive coaching practices and published multiple articles with BR about creating community. She uses her experience, both personal and working, to foster environments that focus on valuing individual athletes and ensuring that, at whatever level, their experience of sport is inclusive, fulfilling and fun.

In her spare time, she likes to try new sports and learn from their practice. She plays rugby with Cambridge women’s side when she can and, having only started last year, she won an award for Most Improved Player of the Year.
