Olivia Rae’s Bio
Olivia Rae is a passionate neurodiversity advocate who received autism and ADHD diagnoses in her 30s, following years of mental health challenges. As part of the growing community of late-diagnosed women, she finds empowerment in sharing her journey, using storytelling and self-reflection to foster understanding and inclusivity. A former international cricketer, Olivia represented the Scotland Women’s national cricket team from 2010 to 2017, earning 76 caps, and played for teams such as Durham, Berkshire, Middlesex, and Canterbury. These experiences, navigating performance pathways designed for neurotypical athletes, have shaped her advocacy and commitment to helping others thrive.
Now Head of Community for Neurodiverse Sport, Olivia channels her passion for identity, creativity, and self-expression into her work. Through authentic blogs and honest storytelling, she highlights neurodivergent strengths while supporting others on similar paths. Reflecting on how her late diagnoses influence her mental health and creative expression, Olivia envisions a society that celebrates every mind and creates space for all to succeed.
