Harry Sweeny’s Bio

Harry Sweeny is a 26-year-old Australian Pro Cyclist who only discovered his neurodivergence in his mid-20s. His experience of the world was different from others, something he realized after a visit to a supermarket with low-stimulation conditions, which he found relaxing. This realisation led him to seek a diagnosis, and over the last three years, he has learned to adapt his mindset and engagement strategies for optimal performance, focusing on how his mind works to enhance his abilities.

Sweeny brings a fresh perspective to Neurodiversity, highlighting that it isn’t all about struggle or challenge, but also about finding inspiration and embracing a lighter, more positive approach to self-awareness and growth. He’s passionate about sharing his journey, which serves as an empowering example of how understanding and working with one's neurodivergence can lead to peak performance both in cycling and life.
