Chloe Carter’s Bio

Chloe Carter is a wheelchair basketball player competing in the Women’s Premier League for East London Phoenix and the National League for London Titans. Having started playing wheelchair basketball only two years ago at university, Chloe, who is autistic, faces challenges but also leverages her neurodivergent strengths in team sports. She is supported by a strong network within the wheelchair basketball community, helping her navigate her unique experiences in the sport.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Chloe is a PhD researcher at the University of Hull, where she investigates the geomorphic impacts of Natural Flood Management (NFM), specifically focusing on leaky barriers. Chloe also works as a Consultant Geomorphologist at WSP, where she applies her expertise in environmental and structural projects.
